Hari selasa kemarin, Puskesmas Kiarapedes melaksanakan kegiatan vaksinasi bagi siswa dan siswi sekolah dasar. Pelaksanaan dilakukan di dua tempat , pertama di SDN 1 Mekarjaya dan yang kedua SDN 2 Mekarjaya. Kepala Desa Mekarjaya turut serta dalam mengawasi kegiatan vaksin tersebut. Beliau memberikan arahan dan dukungan kepada setiap pelajar yang hendak di Vaksin.
Pelaksanaan Vaksinasi bagi Pelajar Sekolah Dasar ini , dilakukan sebagai upaya percepatan kekebalan kelompok serta persiapan pembelajaran tatap muka (PTM). Sebelum pelajar disuntikkan vaksin , tentu seperti biasa pihak medis menanyakan apakah siswa yang bersangkutan memiliki riwayat penyakit yang sekiranya dapat menjadi pertimbangan apakah akan divaksin atau tidak.
Adapun laporan pencapaian vaksinasi tersebut diantaranya :
SDN 1 Mekarjaya : 88 Pelajar
SDN 2 Mekarjaya : 119 Pelajar
Jumlah keseluruhan 207 Pelajar
